Neighbors.  There are a few events I would like to make sure everyone has on their calendars!

May 12, 2009; 7pm - 9pm; Candidate's Forum (Includes city and school positions); A.B. Davis Middle School Auditorium
 
May 13, 2009; 7:00p; School Board Candidates Forum and Budget Presentation; Join us as we hear from the candidates, and then the superintendent, about the School Board vote and budget election. Riverside Memorial Chapel, Broad Street.
 
May 15, 2009; 8:00 a - 4:00 p; Annual Talkin' Trash and Spring Planting; Come out and make our neighborhood beautiful for the new season!  Donate an hour, 2, or all day!  Refreshments provided!  Meet at Fleetwood Deli-Cafe on Gramatan Avenue and Grand Street (which is also where, of course, we will be refreshing ourselves!) and make a real difference in our community! The Fleetwood Neighborhood Association would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Fleetwood Deli-Cafe for allowing us to set up shop outside all day, every year, and for generously allowing us to come inside to eat - no matter how dirty we get! Also, we'd like to extend our appreciation to Gherardi Greenhouses - who always put up with our last minute changes (5 bags of mulch - no 15!) and of course, our corporate sponsor, Goldman Sachs Community Teamworks!
 
May 16, 2009; 10:00a - 1:00p; Armory Memorial Garden Planting; Don't worry if you can't make the Friday planting, help us on Saturday, instead! We'll be planting some lovely annuals in the Armory Memorial Garden on 5th Street! We've got the tools and the plants - we just need the labor! :)
