Friday, May 1, 2009. This is a nationwide effort to raise
awareness about cancer and to garner support and enthusiasm
for Relay For Life. The Mount Vernon community is asked to help
transform schools, businesses, homes and local government facilities
purple. </FONT></DIV>

for "Paint the City Purple"? Need some ideas? You can wear
purple clothing, put purple ribbons or balloons on your mailbox or tie
one around your tree, plant purple flowers, have a "purple passion"
or "purplicious" celebration and/or send purple emails. A
follow-up memo detailing the "Paint The City Purple" initiatives
and activities for Mount Vernon will be forwarded April 25. Please
